Accounting Manager

Richmond, VA

Cherry Bekaert Staffing and Recruiting is searching for a Hands-On Accounting Manager for a project-based opportunity outside of Richmond, VA.

Candidate should be available to be on site 3 days per week from 8:30-5 for approximately 2-4 months.

Candidate will be responsible for:

Hands-on reconciliations and journal entries into the ERP system
Variance analysis
Tasks for year-end
Audit readiness
Responding to requests from external auditors
Other duties as assigned

Candidates should have the following background:

6+ years of accounting experience
Self-directed personality
Ability to take the ball and get work accomplished
NetSuite experience preferred, but not required
Ability to be comfortable with hands on experience directed from Controller and Asst. Controller
Good technical skills in software and Microsoft Suite
