Ready to take ownership of the financial operations for a growing $75M industrial/civil construction company?
We seeking a highly skilled Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, cash management, job costing, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Reporting directly to the President, this is a key leadership role for an experienced construction accounting professional who thrives in a hands-on environment.
What You'll Own:
✅ Financial reporting & month-end close
✅ Job costing, WIP schedules & project profitability analysis
✅ Percentage-of-completion accounting
✅ Multi-state payroll, tax & compliance oversight
✅ Cash flow management, budgeting & forecasting
✅ AP, AR & payroll team leadership
✅ Audit, insurance & bonding coordination
✅ Strategic partnership with executive leadership
What We're Looking For:
✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
✔ 7+ years of accounting experience with senior leadership responsibility
✔ 5+ years of construction accounting experience required
✔ Expertise in job costing, WIP reporting, and construction billing
✔ Knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax compliance
✔ Experience with Spectrum, Vista, Sage 300, Foundation, or similar ERP systems
✔ CPA preferred
