Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Maxio Systems Administrator Consultant to support the administration, optimization, and enhancement of its Maxio environment (formerly SaaSOptics/Chargify). This consultant will be responsible for improving billing and revenue workflows, supporting integrations, resolving system issues, and ensuring overall data integrity across the platform.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience within SaaS or subscription-based organizations and have a deep understanding of recurring billing, subscription management, revenue recognition, and financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and optimize the Maxio platform.
- Review and enhance billing, subscription management, invoicing, and revenue workflows.
- Troubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, and operational inefficiencies.
- Validate data integrity across customers, subscriptions, invoices, and revenue schedules.
- Support integrations between Maxio and ERP, CRM, payment processing, and reporting systems.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and best practices.
- Provide support to finance, accounting, operations, and customer success teams on Maxio-related matters.
- Analyze existing system configurations and recommend optimization opportunities.
- Manage user administration, security settings, permissions, and audit reviews.
- Assist with reporting and dashboard development.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Maxio, SaaSOptics, and/or Chargify.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and recurring revenue operations.
- Experience with subscription billing, invoicing, collections, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and perform complex data analysis.
- Experience supporting integrations with ERP and CRM platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reconciliation.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or business systems administration.
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Experience with API integrations, workflow automation, and data migrations.
- CPA, CMA, Accounting, Finance, or related business systems experience is a plus.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
