What You Bring
Production Manager – Manufacturing
📍 Greater Allentown Area, PA
Lead the Floor. Drive Results. Build Something Better.
We’re looking for a hands-on, results-driven Production Manager to take ownership of our manufacturing operations in the greater Allentown area. This is not a desk role—this is an opportunity for someone who thrives on the plant floor, understands the details of equipment and process flow, and knows how to turn teams into high-performing units.
If you know when to roll up your sleeves and fix the problem—and when to bring in the right expertise—you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
- Own plant operations in a batch manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements, efficiency gains, and waste reduction
- Lead, coach, and develop production teams, building strong bench strength and future leaders
- Optimize resource allocation, labor utilization, and production flow
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Quality, and Logistics to align production with customer demand
- Manage budgets and understand labor and production cost drivers, ensuring strong margin performance
- Oversee equipment performance, including basic troubleshooting, maintenance decisions, and vendor coordination
- Establish and implement KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 7+ years of plant or production management experience, ideally in batch manufacturing
- A hands-on leadership style—you lead from the floor, not from an office
- Strong understanding of production flow, scheduling, and operational bottlenecks
- Proven ability to improve efficiencies and productivity while maintaining quality standards
- Experience managing budgets, labor costs, and overall operational performance
- Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and maintenance decision-making
- Ability to develop teams and build a positive, accountable culture
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
