Office Manager-Accounts Payable, Administrative Assistant, and Human Resources

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Manager-AP, HR, and Administrative. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing accounting responsibilities with administrative and human resources support.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for accounts payable data entry, maintaining employee records, handling unemployment claims, and providing general administrative assistance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
  • Perform accurate and timely accounts payable data entry
  • Review invoices for proper documentation and approval
  • Assist with vendor set-up and maintenance
  • Reconcile discrepancies and follow up with vendors as needed
Human Resources Support
  • Process and manage unemployment claims, including documentation and correspondence
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding documentation
  • Support compliance with HR policies and procedures
Administrative Support
  • Provide general administrative assistance, including filing, data management, and reporting
  • Maintain organized records and documentation systems
  • Assist with internal communications and coordination across departments
  • Support special projects and office operations as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, administrative, or HR support roles
  • Experience with accounts payable processing and data entry
  • Familiarity with HR processes, including employee record management and unemployment claims, preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and/or accounting/HR systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
